simply amazing, only paid 30 euros a night and for this got an awesome room with mint facilities. also a great location. stayin in this hotel is a must. ive already booked my next stay for february.

I came across this hotel in the budget section of the Lonely Planet guide to Amsterdam. This hotel is far from what you expect of a budget hotel. The rooms were clean and recently renovated. All rooms have private bath. The staff and the hotel bar were great. The best part of the hotel was the location. It is less than 5 mins. from Centraal Station, right off the Damrak, and walking distance to just about everything in Central Amsterdam. I would definitely stay here the next time I'm in Amsterdam. I got a great room for 70 Euro.

We stayed here in may 2004, this is a very small hotel, i think only 11 rooms, this means everybody is well taken care of, the room we stayed in had a lovely view over looking the boat tours & central station, our room had tv, safe, shower & toilet. The hotel is modern, simple but well decorated, it had a cool electronic key system, in the room you slide the key card into a sort of control unit to provide electricty, this is to prevent using xtra electric when not in the room (very eco friendly, we like:-) The stairs are something to get used to quite steep (i was told all old buildings are like this) We meet some of the other hotel guests during our stay, all nice people! The bar & hotel are walking distance from everything, i mean every thing!
The staff are very nice & profesonal, they know the city like the back of there hand, & are able to allways point you in the right direction------> all n all, good value for money & a plesant attmosphire.

My famly stayed here last month, we found it very pleasing, we booked trough their website -friscoinn.com-, very nice rooms they are very clean and friendly staff. Love the keycards insted of normal keys and the disapering pooltable. Good valu for money!!
