Staff at this hotel couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Provided us with a map on arrival and talked us through best and cheapest ways to get to any thing we had in mind. They recommended a few restaurants and a canal cruise which was lovely.

Location couldn't be better. Within walking distance to anywhere in Central Amsterdam. From the airport we got a 15min train ride to Central station which was about €6 and then changed on to a tram which was about 3 mins. Alternatively on the way home we walked to Central station which took about 15 mins.
Taxi quote to airport was €60. Get the train! Is so easy.

Right near Rembrandt Square, the flower market, and the main Amstel canal and cruise.

The rooms are small with small bathrooms but was nicely decorated with super comfy beds, heating, air con, hair dryer and electric window to keep out any noise or light.

You get given your own keys for entrance to hotel do you never need to worry what time you are going out or coming home.

The location of this hotel is prime considering its just around the corner from Rembrandt Square 10 minutes from the Leidesplein and 15 minutes from Dam Square and De Wallen (Red Light District). We travelled in a party of five and stayed in the apartments provided by the hotel which were excellent nicely furnished complete with a balcony which would be great in the summer, although in winter it was nice. As for sleeping the beds were reasonably comfortable and extra towels were easy to come by at the hotel reception. One downside was the stairs which were hazardous considering they resembled a ladder more than a set of stairs in the house, but it must be taken into account that these buildings are extremely old and sometimes that is unavoidable. On the whole if you are travelling for a wild weekend to Amsterdam with your friends I definitely recommend this accommodation, but take care not to cause damage to the accommodation as it would be rather costly. On the whole I would definitely stay here again!!!!

We stayed for three nights in one of the suites in the basement of the hotel, we had a canal view. The suite was roomy and comfortable, an extra bed was placed in the lounge area for our child to sleep on which she said was comfortable. There was minimal noise, the only disturbance being people coming back to the other basement room but that was no problem. The stairs are steep but manageable. The only drawback was the drain smell from the bathroom but we kept the door closed so it wasn't too bad; we put the smell down to the room being in the basement with a macerated toilet. The staff were polite and very helpful. Everywhere we went in the hotel was clean and our room was cleaned well every day. We would certainly return to this hotel. The trams to the Centraal Station leave from the Rembrandtsplein just behind the hotel.

The Hotel is located directly on the Amstel Canal close to the Singel Flower Market & only a short walk from the Rembrandtsplein. In fact, the position is superb for all the central attractions Amsterdam has to offer.Built in converted canal side houses giving it a true & authentic "Amsterdamse" atmosphere.
Very clean, well appointed rooms, some with canal views.Small restaurant & close to numerous other eateries. If you like Oriental food, lots this style.in the area.Would recommend for a great base in Amsterdam.

Room Tip: The Canal View rooms-dearer but worth it
