the hotel is located right in the center and that's the only good point.
the rooms are so ugly!
all is dark, there is no light, only a window which you can't open -_-"
our bed was dirty and we had to complain to the reception.
the ceiling seems that falls and there are holes in there.
in the "smoking area" there are work in progress and that's not so funny.
overall for us that we are yung that wasn't a terrible holiday but for older people that is really not advised by me.

The value for money here is fantastic. Heart of Amsterdam is located right between the Red Light District and there are tons of coffeeshops in the surrounding area. Although the Red Light District is a bit...seedy (to say the least) at night, one only has to walk a few minutes to find decent coffeeshops.

If you are actually going for the RLD then this is the place to stay as it's pretty much in the middle of it.

The rooms are very clean and tidy and we had one for just our friends so I can't comment on it as a hostel as there were no strangers in our room. The beds are comfy and the shower room is great, showers are really good. The rooms are dark/dimly lit though so if you are looking for a place to hang out in this is not it. We mainly used it to sleep and shower so we spent very little time in the rooms.

The breakfast is very varied and pretty decent for the price.

Great hostel to be honest, I recommend.

for experience movie theme in every room is fine, but for good rest, you definitely should find another hotel, drunken guess come on go all night, very noisy. Breakfast Menu is very limited. really not worth it.
