Well I have to admit it was a little dissapointing. I stayed here with 2 other girls and it was reasonably priced for what you pay for. Being so close to the Red light District of Amsterdam was very handy, there were so many shops, and places to eat so location wise this place was suitable.
However if you are going to Amsterdam, and I say this if there are keen backpackers wanting to visit the Red light District in particular, I suggest that you try another hostel. This hostel is a smoke free hostel, and for the price that we payed for a nights stay turned out to be as much as a night staying in our very own apartment (which is what we then later organised)
However the staff are very friendly (Brian will help you with just about anything) and for a night or two it should do you fine. Meanwhile what we ended up doing was leaving the hostel, and finding our own place that was priced as much as the hostel, and opted for that as we wanted our own privacy and bathroom.
