I booked 3 nights through Booking.com at this "B&B". Upon arrival and climbing 2 flights of stairs up a dingy, dark staircase, we were led a few feet to the left of the entrance to our "room." The room was so small that we could touch two walls with outstretched hands. The bed touched the wall on 3 sides and required one to climb in from the end of the bed. The remainder of the room consisted of about 3 square feet for standing (it was rented for 2 persons!) and had no place for clothing, other than a small curio cabinet pointed out by the owner for "storing our clothes." We couldn't even close the door with the 2 of us standing in the room beside our luggage. When we protested that the room wasn't suitable for 2 persons, we were told that it was a non-refundable "compact" room. It was more of a closet with the ambiance of a jail cell. The owner refused to refund any part of the room charges even though hotels were completely booked up in Amsterdam due to it being high season. We left and booked another room in a neighboring city, and it was well worth not having to stay in this room, which was really just a closet in a woman's apartment. Nothing in this place even remotely resembled a B&B. Just skip it and stay in a reputable hotel. You'll be glad you did.
Oh, and Booking.com was absolutely no help. Neither the owner or Booking.com offered us any alternatives other than take it or leave it. It was a $425 expenditure for absolutely nothing.
