We stayed 1 night here, at a very last minute decision. Staff was very efficient at check in and check out.
Our room was at the small side on the top floor, but had a good bed and good cushions! I missed a bath tub in the bathroom, though. When jumping under the shower we had to wait a long time before the hot water came up. Don't know if this had to do with being on the upper floor?
The hotel offered a nice breakfast buffet with all you need on a Sunday morning.
It is located at about 20 to 30 minutes walk to the city center.

We spent two nights here. We arrived very early in the morning before we could check-in to our room. It was good that the hotel had big lockers for us to store our luggages so we could start our city tour right away. It was a quick 2-minute walk to the nearby tram stations. We liked the modern design of the room with comfortable bed and comforter. The glass wall and door of the bathroom were painted black for some privacy. It was a good size room considered being in a big city in Europe. Staff was very helpful. They directed us to an Italian seafood restaurant with good food at a reasonable price that was about a 15-minute walk from the hotel.

Staff were efficient, helpful and friendly.
Building is an imaginatively converted 18th C. orphanage.
We stayed here 5 nights as part of a very moderately priced package. Our room on the first floor was comfortable, well but minimally furnished room. Warm. Unusually high ceiling and soaring windows with view into a beautiful courtyard gave the room serious appeal. Room accessed by dramatically lit but dark hallway which was refreshingly atmospheric but may not appeal to everyone.

100m walk to the Korte s Gravanat tram stop that will take you to Leidseplein (where you can easily catch the tram that runs through the centre of town and towards Central Station). Also close to night bus stop at Alexanderplein.

We booked this hotel for a weekend in Amsterdam. Located a little bit far from the city centre, allow about 30 minutes on foot to get to the inner city. Our room was on the upper floor and very small but comfortable. The hotel is nicely designed in an old church style building. Breakfast was basic but OK. Good balance price-value and we had luck: we didn't have to pay for a space at the hotel parking lot (machine broken).

My boyfriend and I stayed 3 nights at this hotel for a short break, and it certainly exceeded our expectations! For the price we paid, we were very impressed. Our standard room was modernly decorated interior with two floors which we found cool. It was clean, the bed was fairly comfy and it had a lovely view of the canal. The only downside of our room was the fact that it was right next to the main road and you could hear the noise of the traffic (although it didn't bother me). The hotel is situated in a great location as it is a short walk from the tram stations, as well as the metro which take you anywhere a tourist like ourselves could possible want to go to, in no time! Staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast which was included was satisfying, and we enjoyed the complimentary wifi!
