A nice & boutique hotel with good location. Staff very helpful, breakfast excellent. Only drawback is limited internet connection.

Three nights in the Bridge Hotel in Room 13 (triple room - double and single) ideal for our family, with a great view of the canal. Extreemly clean with cleaning and bed making done every day.

Excellent breakfast buffet, as much as you like with a fantastic range of food. Staff could not be too helpful with suggestions.

5 mins walk to nearest tram stop and 10 mins to town (walking) but we purchased a E7 24 hour tram pass fantastic value for money and never walked anywhere !

Dont agree with too far out, I walked to Rembrant Square just to get a couple of buns !! Had drinks from the bar (was suprised how low we were charged when added to the room !)

Will be back and booking here again

Room Tip: Did not see any other rooms but Room 13 for Family was fantastic

I spent three nights in the charming Bridge Hotel in November. Yes it is a tram ride away from the center - but for me this is what makes the hotel so nice. Being right on the canal and Amstel River allows one to experience the true nature of Amsterdam. It is close to the former Jewish Quarter - museum and Spanish Portuguese Synagogue and Hermitage Museum as well as a short walk to a wonderful street-Utretchestraat - with its shops and delicious choice of restaurants - including Tempo Doeloe reputed to be the finest Indonesian restaurant in the city (reservations necessary) The hotel staff is very helpful especially Nanci and accomodating and the rooms are ample,. breakfast bountiful. tips: van Gogh museum has Friday night hours/ check out wonderful Amsterdam Historical Museum/ try to get to Anne Frank House during the week expect lines as venue is small - take tram/bus early am to fascinating flower auction in Aalsmeer

Room Tip: ask for room facing canal -

We spent four nights at the Bridge Hotel in October and can recommend it. It is situated right on the Amstel River, just by the Skinny Bridge and the Hermitage Museum. This location gave us the ambience of the river combined with the convenience of the tram line just at the end of the street. Our room was large and comfortable with the usual small European bathroom. Only two drawbacks were the very ordinary breakfast and the steep stairs (no elevator). The staff are happy to help with your bags, but bear in mind that you have to climb steep stairs to your room. A very pleasant hotel, to be recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the canal or the river

A breathtaking view, and a pretty nice location (10 mins to Dam Square with Tram) you will enjoy this hotel! Actually it was a bit far away from the center, and we spent too much money on transportation because of the fact that we couldn't just walk to the center. And also make sure that you don't have Claustrophobia, since many rooms have no windows. I recommend you to stay in a room with a window because you'll need some fresh air!
Except for those, everything was good, clean rooms, friendly staff and a selective breakfast.

Room Tip: Choose a room from higher floors because they have a window!

We stayed at the Bridge Hotel Sunday last weekend, and we enjoyed the friendly staff in particular Marlene and Nancy, both were so helpful. Breakfast was excellent, great choice of cold meats, bread, cereals well done. The room was great, comfortable bed, lovely view. I am so glad we found this hotel, near good restaurants, in particular L'Express on Utrechtsestraat 29, we had a fantastic 3 course meal for 25 euros. I would certainly recommend the Bridge hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Amsterdam.

Thank you

What a neat little hotel. Great location on the Amstel River and close to public transit.
We requested a room on a lower floor since the hotel has no lift.
We were happy to find upon check-in that our canal view room was on the first level.
Even with this close proximity to the reception desk our room was very quiet.
Breakfast was good and the selection was complete.
Our hosts were very friendly and very helpful in their local travel suggestions.

Room Tip: Choose a canal view room for sure if possible.
