Three of us went for a weekend in the third week of September, we found the standard rooms to be average to good with a slight squeeze in the bedroom area, but the ensuite was good which you need to freshen up(Superb Shower!) We found the reception and bar staff polite and helpful, we stayed on a B&B basis in which there was a very good buffet breakfast which consisted of selections teas, coffees, hot chocolate, fruit juices, cereals, breads, boiled eggs, cooked meets and cheeses. The dining area is spacious, but my only grump with the hotel were the bar prices for e.g. 4.50 euros (£3.20) for a large beer 500ml and 6 euros (£4.20) a vodka and diet coke!
A Few Pointers:
1) Its a good 30 minute walk to the Coffee Shops and the Red Light area from the Hotel or you jump on a tram (2 or 5) which stops at the end of the street in which the hotel is situated.
2) '''Taxi Fares!''' Beware of registered taxi drivers over charging from the airport to hotel, it is no more than 35 euros (£24), when we arrived we were charged 45 euros (£32) I did argue because I already knew the prices roughly from this site, but I was too knackered moan any more as we all arrived on a early morning flight we just wanted to get our heads down, but thankfully our fare was the correct going rate on the return taxi journey to the airport, but the guy behind reception did mention that some poor travellers have been charged 80 euros!!! so be careful folks
