We stayed here for 3 nights and was the perfect hotel to stay at. Location is great, a short walk/tram ride away from the museum district and the tram stop is a minute walk from the hotel.
The room was cosy and well kept. We stayed on the top floor so had to go up two very steep stairs, if you struggle with stairs Id request to ask for a bottom floor room.
The staff were extremely helpful and kind, great advice on where was good to eat and made you feel very welcome.
I loved it so much I'm staying here again in the summer :)

We booked this hotel through low cost holidays and it was fantastic .
The rooms are stylish and clean and the staff were excellent .
We were in a lovely area with little boutique shops surrounding us .
With only a short walk to the museum district this hotel is s must stay and we will definitely be going back .

Situated in a very good residential area close to the Vondelparc. Friendly staff and stylish rooms
and restaurant. Very tastful renovated hotel not too big an very central.
Quite practical to find the tram station more or less just in front of the door.
I do recommend the hotel and look forward staying again at the Apple Inn!!!

We arrived late at night to a beaming welcome. Every time we arrived or left, we got a friendly hello or good bye. Nice! They gave us brilliant directions and advice. The room was large by European standards, and very comfortable.
The neighbourhood is pretty, quiet, safe and hassle free. Great bakery nearby!

there are two major flaws:
1. This hotel is not in the city centre or train station. It is a fair walk, or a 25 minute tram ride. It is located near Vondel Park which is gorgeous and well worth a ride or walk through. (it is one way you can get to the centre).
2. the steep Amsterdam stairs will kill some people- literally- climbing up them or falling down them.
If you can handle the stairs, then you will love it

Just came back from 3 days stay in Amsterdam. Amazing city, amazing people and amazing hotel as well. Very happy that we stayed particularly at this place. This hotel located in very calm area close to VondelPark, and it was pretty easy to get to very central. 10 minutes walk to the biggest museums including Van Gogh museum (highly recommending but with audio guide). Hotel itself is not huge but its recently renovated, looks very sleek and even a bit posh, was very pleasant to have breakfast at the lounge. Our room was no5 on 1st floor with 3 single beds, pretty spacious and we had balcony as well. Was clinically clean and room smelled very fresh. When we entered the room there were cards on each bed for free welcome drink at the bar. My friends really liked this hotel too. Will definitely come this summer again :)

Room Tip: Room no 5 is pretty spacious, room n3 has double bed and small balcony facing main street but its pr...

If you are holidaying on a budget but don’t want to compromise on style I highly recommend the Apple Inn Hotel. It’s situated in the museum quarter of Amsterdam and you are five minutes away from a tram stop that takes you straight to central train station. The Van Gough Museum in only a fifteen minute walk away. I was completely wowed by the boutique style renovated manor house that set me back only 30 Euros per night. The decor is modern yet traditional at the same time and the Xmas decorations were a magical touch.
The bar offers a wide range of spirits, wines teas and coffee. You receive a complementary drink on arrival. WI FI is available for free in all areas or you can opt to use one of the hotel computers. The hotel staff are particularly accommodating especially if you want tips on the best places to go. The reception is open twenty four seven. Our room was divine with beautiful curtains, luxurious bedding and a swanky bathroom with a power shower. It’s a peaceful haven after a day’s site seeing. Top marks all round.

THE APPLE INN feels like coming home! The personel is very kind and does everything to make you happy with an unartificial smile. The rooms are peace-giving, relaxing in nice nature colors painted and decorated. The beds and blankets are very comfortabel. I didn't like the noice of my wake- up sign in the morning!
In the bathroom you'll find everything you need to get ready for an active day in town. Everything is perfectly clean, but not at all feeling "cold". At the lobby they speak different languages fluently. So when you come from abroad, I'm sure they will be able to assist you with everything you need.
One thing is for sure: this will become "my place to stay in Amsterdam".
