Possibly a bit pricey considering the size of the group we were, but that mattered little. The hotel itself was nice. Possibly a bit shabby, but you wont be spending too much time in it anyway.

It right in the Red Light which is handy as the best pubs/clubs etc seem to be around there. The showers were nice and hot, the rooms were big and airy (strong radiators as well).

Id recommend this to groups of fellas, but somehow I doubt girls would feel as comfortable there.

Stayed there in April, a nice cheap hotel in the RLD, the staff was nice,the room was cleaned every day and given clean towel and linen. the only negative was that it is a bit rundown and could use a coat of paint. A great place for young or single guys who want to be in the middle of all the action.

just came back from a week in amsterdam to check out some shows. had a great time, beautiful town, the hotel was right in thr red light district. i didn't realize this when i booked it, but figured i should stay with it. it was a very nice hotel, small rooms, as i learned that most around there are, except maybe for the bigger chain hotels. i was by myself, so i had a single, and the room was a little tight, but as long as i had a bed, and tv, i was fine. private shower, very clean, they gave me clean towel and soap every day. nice people working there, though sometimes they seem busy, and don't like being asked too many questions, but it's pretty much like that every where there. they were still patient, and gave me my envelope where i kept my passport and money in their safe any time, though they asked to do it before 10 at night. you have a key, so you can go in and out of the hotel anytime, but i wou;dn't recomend staying there alone, because the junkies can be very annoying. no serious probs, but still very annoying, so personally when i go there again, i would prob stay in another area, but for a cheaper stay, nice hotel, i would recommend this place.

It was unexpecred, but not bad. Very friendly stuff, cheap. clean enough, but noisy - from street. View on channel, good breakfast.
