I love this extraordinary hotel. I have stayed there twice, May 99 and June 06. The rooms are the most beautiful examples of the long tradition of Dutch excellence in decoration using a charming ecclectic style. Each room is unique with beautiful oriental rugs, leather chairs, elaborate tilework, and mirrors which are cleverly placed to reflect architectural details. The excellent service is discreet, the rooms VERY clean. A true Amsterdam experience located two blocks from Rembrandtplein on the most beautiful canal in the city. I just would not stay anywhere else.

This hotel is perfect, its in a gorgeous location, overlooking the canal and easy walking distance to anywhere you will likely want to go to, with many bars and resturants nearby. We stayed in room 9, which even though was at the top of a severe staircase (i did feel sorry for them who ever brought our breakfast up each morning, thank you Gunter) was absolutly charming, clean and everything you needed.
Amsterdam is a beautiful city and we really loved staying at this hotel, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you Seven Bridges Hotel.

Besides a terrific location (near lots of good restaurants, museums, yet quiet and peaceful)and a very friendly and helpful staff, staying at the Seven Bridges was like having our own small apartment. We had accommodations with two beds and two rooms (plus frig to keep food/drink available). Can't imagine a more inviting place to stay in Amsterdam!!

I guess it depends on what a person likes, I like antiques and good beds with lots of covers, hot coffee and croissants served to my room on pretty china and friendly faces in the morning. My room was # 5 it was beautiful and spacious with it's own bath and a shower with wonderful and plentiful hot water. It had a terrace overlooking gardens that we spent alot of time on. Gunter and Pierre couldn't have been nicer, even when we caused that little electrical accident. I was able to see most of the other rooms before I left and would have stayed in any of them, I just happen to like the one with the terrace the best. If you stay there tell them Donna Hodges says hi.

Fantastic period hotel in the heart of Amsterdam, very nice rooms and freindly staff, we especially enjoyed our casul breakfast in our room, over looking the canal, which was ample enough to set us up for the day.
