Midway between the airport and center city sits this Holiday Inn Express. The rooms were clean and comfortable with housekeeping each day. The staff at the front desk literally "made the Hotel" This property is at the confluence of the major public transportation systems in Amsterdam, bus, trolley, train, and taxi, if necessary. With this many transportation choices assistance was necessary, but, once given a destination the front desk staff was able to sort thru the choices and come up with the best plan. This was accomplished in English, which was good for us as monolingual Americans. Breakfast - outstanding - if you can't find it there you probably don't need it for breakfast. The only downside was a restaurant for dinner. When we were there the only outside restaurant was being refurbished, was difficult to get to, and had a limited menu. This was only a factor on our first night after a 10 hour airplane flight. In summation, a ,Great place to stay.
