“Best hotel in Amsterdam”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2011

Nadia Hotel was our choose to sleep in our trip to Ámsterdam. The hotel is centrally located, between Dam Square and the Westerkerk on Jordaan Quarter. The hotel in on a 1rst floor and the staff take your luggage to your room so there´s no problem to climb the steepy staircase, when we arrived to the reception the recepcionitst offered a free drink while we wait our room was ready. We booked a twin room with balcony with views to the westerkerk, the beds are bit small the door of the bathroom the smaller than i´ve seen but confortable to sleep after spend the day visiting the city. The breakfast was included on the rate and consist on bread rolls, croisants, orange juice, coffee, tea, yogurths, cheese. You have to pay the book before the day you leave the hotel if you pay in cash you get a 6% discount, can leave your luggage in a room after the check out. The staff was very kind all time, i highly recommend this hotel and sure that i back again.

Believe the beautiful pictures on the web site, that is what you get! My boyfriend and I stayed two nights in early March. The room is lovely decorated, quiet and clean, superisingly with fridge and water cocker in the room, which brought a lot of convinience. The Hotel is in the City Central naxt to the Dam, the Train station is just 1 minute walk away, leading us to the central station in 5 minutes and all other fanous views in 10 minutes. The Manager and all staffs are very, very nice. WLAN is free. Staying in the breakfast room with phantastic over the river was a great experience. Only the space in the room is limited but sufficient, well you can not beat the location. Will choose it again for my next stay in Amsterdan, for sure!

I stayed at this hotel for five days during July lasy year. Was very easy to get to with the shuttle bus service at Shipol Airport. Location was great, only a 3 minute walk to Anne Frank House and around 5 minute walk to Dam Square. Very basic rooms but they were very clean and the staff were very helpful. I would definately stay here again.

Myself and my husband booked the Nadia for a relaxing birthday four day break after reading the excellent reviews that we had read on here (our travel bible!) I, myself work for an airline and have stayed in many hotels accross the globe over the years, and this is definately one of my favourites.
The service, we were greeted at the door by a happy, smiling Hazem, who promptly took our cases off us and whisked them immediately to our room. Hazem laughed and joked with us about the stairs (as you have probably seen the pictures on here, but not so bad) and said that he would carry us up to our rooms if we were unable to make them of an evening, which I am glad to say was not needed :-)
Osam the owner/manager was waiting to greet us in reception with a welcome drink and a ton of helpful information and leaflets etc on the local area and recommendations for bike hire etc, without us having to ask. Many hotels I have found also charge for the safes, and I was pleasantly suprised to find the Nadia do not. I was also impressed by the fact that it was so security conscious and had a buzzer and camera on the door to let you in, we felt very safe there. Also there was always someone on reception to let you in and deal with any enquiries day or night.
Our room was very comfortable with a fantastic view, room 413 on the top floor looking over at the canal, Westerkirk and Ann Frank Haus. The bed was lovely with a feather quilt and pillows, and loved the walk-in dressing area and fresh flowers in the room. Tea and coffee making facilites also very handy.
The breakfast room is very charming, and we loved the LCD tv on the wall with the calming beach, listening to the waves crashing on the shore! The coffee is to die for and the croissants, and the very helpful staff will make you toast if you ask. We throuroughly enjoyed the breakfast and it set us up for the day to explore etc.
The bike hire place they recommended was excellent too if you are thinking of hiring bikes, and just around the corner.
Location, excellent! I have been to Amsterdam twice before and never had the luxury of staying so near to the centre and be on the tram route, it was so close to everything and in a very pretty area with everything close by, including Dam Square only two mins away.
I thoroughly recommend the farmers market also (on a Saturday only) where we tried oysters for the first time and brought some tasty dutch cheese (after tasting the whole stall!) and some crafts. We also went to the bigger daily market on Albert Cuperstaat which was worth a visit.
We never got to visit the Ann Frank Haus as everytime we went to go the queues were very long, but you would need to get there very early or late I think.
All in all we had a perfect stay at the Nadia and we would definately go again, nothing was too much trouble and we felt really welcomed on arrival, book it, you won't be dissapointed!

Went to Amsterdam for my wife's birthday and stayed for 4 days. We had a lovely room overlooking the canal and even fresh flowers. The staff were helpful and carried our luggage to and from the rooms. The location is also ideal site seeing in Amsterdam. The bed was also comfy. I would recommend this hotel.
