“Everything we were hoping for and more!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2010

The customer service is the best thing about the Nadia Hotel-- super friendly and helpful personnel. They will make sure you have anything you need. The Nadia is centrally located and overlooks a beautiful canal. This hotel is SO cozy and charming! Since it is part of a historic building the rooms are small, but they are completely outfitted with everything you need, and the beds are very comfortable. The street outside can be noisy, so you may want a room at the back, but we loved our canal view and wouldn't have traded it for a quieter room. We didn't mind the climb up the narrow stairs (typical of the historic buildings,) because your luggage will be brought up for you. But if you have stair issues you will probably be better off in a modern hotel with an elevator. The breakfast room is delightful and the continental breakfast is very good. The price was the best we could find in Amsterdam. We were SO pleased and highly recommend it.

We spent 3 nights at this cute little hotel, yes the rooms are small and the stairs very steep but typical for Amsterdam. The staff was very nice, had fresh flowers in the room for our anniversary . They carry all heavy luggage to your room, service the rooms each day, clean. The breakfast buffet is good in a cute room overlooking the canal. The location is perfect, near Anne Frank House, hop on/off canal boat stop, 2 blocks to Dam Square and Red Light district. The tram from Central Station stops 1/2 block away. We rented bikes from a shop down the block. Everything was so convienant for our short stay. Yes i would reccomend this hotel for travelers for a short trip to Amsterdam.

our recent stay was perfectly delightful! the unassuming locked door w/buzzer on busy Raadhuis Straat was the 1st surprise. the steep narrow steps (37!) to the reception area was the 2nd. fresh flowers in the room was 3rd. the rooms are like ship's cabins, small w/clever built-ins, & the original dark wood. the bathrooms were completely modern & bright. the breakfast room was cozy & welcoming, w/a good variety of fresh breakfast items & a nice view of the Westerkirk. tho the hotel was very busy during our stay, Osam & his friendly staff were very accomodating in helping w/our specific room request. we felt very safe w/several layers of security (front door, hall door, room door, in room safe). we stayed 5 days & walked everywhere, w/the exception of a canal cruise. we couldn't have picked a better location! thanks again to Osam & Hazem!!

This hotel was really great. You would have never believed it was a 2* if it had not been posted everywhere. The hotel was clean and comfortable, location was perfect the staff was friendly and breakfast was good. This was our first time to Amsterdam and the only thing that bothered us was the smoking. I'm not too sure if it is allowed in all hotels or just in this one but the fact that smoking was allowed in the hotel is what made our "sleep quality" not 5/5. We don't smoke so it was hard for us to get good quality sleep because of that. Otherwise we really enjoyed the hotel, and did have a room with a balcony and that even had a good view. I would recommend this to someone who has no problem with smoking.

Fantastic location and excellent hospitality. Room was clean and breakfast was great and included in rate.
Hotel Manager was extremely helpful and was able to help with any query we had.
Only negative was room was noisy with traffic and trams, but apart from that an excellent experience with this hotel. We stay again if return to Amsterdam.
