Very nice hotel A lot of charm! Location excellent, we walked to all areas of Amsterdam. Very good utilization of space in the rooms. They are small (as all hotel rooms in the city are!) but perfectly set up! Great pressure in the showers. The staff was very friendly and helpful. In-room safe, fridge, private bathroom, breakfast were must haves for me and they were all well worth it.

Hotel was very above some shops on a busy main road, you did get used to the traffic, also the trams ran by very frequently, but you will stay no where in Amsterdam where you will not here a tram, the church across the road, you could hear the chimes of the clock during the day and night, which was really nice. The 37 steps upto the reception do not put you off, you need only to climb twice a day. Rooms cosy, and staff very friendly, rooms have bouquets of flowers in them welcoming you to have a nice stay. I even had a bouquet of flowers given to me on my birthday, which i thought was really nice of them, So thanks Osam and all your staff, we enjoyed our stay and shall certainly come again.

This was my 2nd trip to Amsterdam and the 2nd stay with Nadia. Osam and his staff and family continue to work very hard to make your stay a pleasure. I feel as though I have another home away from home. This small family run establishment is in a perfect location for hopping onto the public transportation or walking to any of the sites.

Osam (the manager) even upgraded our room the final 3 nights of our stay and went to great lengths to make us feel extra special. The hotel does not have the U.S. size rooms/bathrooms, but it is ALWAYS clean, beds give a good nights rest, free wifi, agreeable staff, and if you need anything, just ask and they will try very hard to please (I call this the "Nordstrom" attitude)

I hate to tell everyone how much I like staying here for fear they will be overbooked. One thing - you must be willing to climb steep stairs and try to adopt a European attitude - and you will love Nadia!

My girlfriend booked this trip as a surprise birthday present so I had no expectations of this hotel- however, I was very pleasantly surprised! The stairs was steep but really no problem at all. We were given a soft drink while checking in, which was a nice touch, and our room was at recption level. The most surprising thing about the room was the great use of space- it had everything we needed- comfy bed, TV, desk, small but really clean bathroom and a good size balcony with nice views of the canal and the church. There was also a bunch of fresh flowers in the room, which my girlfriend loved! Breakfast was basic but nice- yogurt, toast and tea. One morning we were quite late for breakfast due to a late one the night before, but they put on some toast and tea, which was nice of them. It's very central, 5 minute walk to Dam Square and literally across the road from Anne Frank's house. It was quiet at night time too and very safe. Visit the Bols distillery, good laugh and great cocktails. We mentioned to the bar man there that it was my birthday and he was very generous with the Genever!! We loved Amsterdam and will stay here again when we come back.

We stayed at Nadia for 2 nights on a trip to Amsterdam to celebrate my partners 30th Birthday....It was my 2nd stay at Nadia and as I expected it was friendly and welcoming, just like the first time....it certainly has a lot of character and the stairs on arrival are spectecular, you certainly know you've just arrived in Amsterdam. We had a Canal View room(207), which was so handy for the Breakfast Room, which is beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful and very welcoming, and we have no hesitation in recommending this place, it is just a few minutes off Dam Square and about 10 minutes walk from Amsterdam Central Rail Station, so therefore very handy for everything.

Stayed at Nadia Hotel for 13 nights visiting our daughter and her family (husband + 2) who reside in a small Amsterdam apartment, hence our need for accommodation. All the good stuff you read about the Nadia is true and not much that we can add that has not already been said. We stayed in room 4 which is a great canal view room and only half way up the first flight of stairs which appear to become less steep the longer you stay.
We are aged 60/54 and handled the steps. It is great that the staff carry your luggage up and down for you (thanks Hasim). This is a major plus.
Street noise and church bell did not bother us and we image would only be a problem for guests who are used to absolute quiet.
This is our third visit to Amsterdam to see our family and we hope to regularly return. We will now book with Nadia as our first option.
To the Manager and staff of the Nadia thank you. You have set high standards of customer service in a city not generally renowned for it. Keep up the great work.
