We only stayed one night, as Amsterdam was a jumping-off point for us. The directions to the hotel from the train station posted on the hotel's website were dead-on. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted by a long flight of steep stairs (we expected this after reading other reviews), but someone immediately took our suitcases and heaved them up for us. We were upgraded to a larger room (even though it was just the 2 of us), and were quite pleased with it. The room was small, (again, this was expected) and we could have cared less as we had just planned on using it for sleeping, showers and re-packing. We had a room overlooking Raadhuis Straat, with 1 double bed and 1 single bed. It was in a quiet neighborhood, so sleeping wasn't a problem. The bathroom looked like it was renovated and was clean. There was a small refrigerator in the room, which was perfect for storing the grocery store items we had picked up for our train trip to Brussels. The hot water pot in the room was nice to have, as well. The staff were very helpful with any questions we had regarding the area. I had a bad headache, so I couldn't sleep part of the night. They were very accommodating when I requested some crackers to take with my medication and even gave me a couple of bottles of water for free. Breakfast was tasty, abundant and just what we wanted. Check out was quick and easy. We would definitely recommend Hotel Nadia for young couples (or singles) who just want a place to sleep at night, or for a quick nap during the day. Definitely a good deal!
