its the third time we stood at the nadia hotel and cannot complain, the steep stairs are a little bit of a trouble after a coffee shop night :) rooms are a bit small but the owner Mr Osama is a brilliant gentlemen with very friendly and trustful staff. highly suggested to young couples

When we first arribed to the hotel (which we easily found, Holland is really good indicated, not as Spain) we couldn't believe the stairs. We knew there were terrible stairs there (because we came with the recomendation of my brother who stayed here a year before), nevertheless, we'd never seen such high steps (but during the week, we saw this kind of steps are everywhere in Amsterdam). However, the staff are so nice they carried our luggagge up at the moment we arribed.
The breakfast is good, I falled in love with the breakfast room and its views. The rooms are confortable and the cleaning is very good.
I'd like to thank the staff of the hotel because they were very nice and hepled us by telling how to get to everywhere!

the staircase is as steep as usual but your bags are taken to your room
i was upgraded this time and got one of the top floor rooms...great!

Stayed here end of Aug with my 2 teenage daughters. Arrived to very friendly staff and free cans of drink and flowers which was lovely. Stairs unbelievable but never had to carry suitcases up ourselves as a porter did it. The room we booked was a deluxe with full canal view but altho the view was lovely, the room was far too small for the 3 of us with 3 cases. The noisy scaffolders arrived a week early to the Manager's surprise so we were moved to room 310, a lovely large,light 4 bed room (family Room) Will def. book this one in the future! BTW , bring mosquito plug-ins and sprays etc . I was bitten a couple of times. Great view of church and canal and that church is just lovely with beautiful chimes.Tram stop right nearby with a supermarket opposite it. Get your strip of tram tickets at a newsagent as pricey on the trams themselves. (You have an hour to get back on any tram if you want to use the same just-stamped ticket.).The Anne Frank House is round the corner (go late to avoid queues) and there is a great place to eat further down from th Anne Frank house on the same side, called the Pancake Bakery -yummy large pancakes savoury or sweet in an in a characterful old warehouse (see photo!).Good clothes shopping to be done in Kalverstraat & Nieuwendijk, just off the Dam Square and there is a good tattoo artist in Gravenstraat too ;) . If you are a Miffy fan (called 'Nintje' in Holland, and created there) take the no. 5 tram to the Miffy shop (called De Winkel van Nijntje) at Beethovenstraat. Get off at "Gerrit v.d. Veenstraat ".
