“Hotel Nadia, Amsterdam”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during September. On our arrival the hotel made special effort to give us a comfortable room, a warm welcome and welcome drinks made us feel right at home. The hotel is centrally located, easy access to shops, public transport, cafes and restaurants. Steep steps up to reception and the rooms expose one to the interesting normal way locals live in Amsterdam, but help is available to get bags up to the room. Breakfast is basic but plentyful and one is allowed to help yourself to extra coffee and tea for the room. I recommend this hotel for anyone, maybe not for people having difficulty to walk quite a few stairs.

Room Tip: If you are able to climb 4 flights of stairs you can get the balcony room which provides a good view...

Recommended by a friend who stayed, this worked well for our group of three adults. In an area located two blocks from Dam Square the location was ideal. Beds were small but comfortable, bathroom was a little quirky, but then so is Amsterdam. Stairs are very steep and narrow like many buildings there, so I would warn elderly, bad knees and large bags. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was also included in the price.

Room Tip: We had a corner room which was good for three adults traveling together. Not sure if there is AC in...

Steep stairs up to reception as expected from previous reviews, but when you first arrive the staff are friendly and offer a complimentary drink before taking you to your room. Room was small but adequate. We were given an optional free upgrade to a larger room when it became available. Breakfast was continental in style, croissants coming from a nearby bakery. Would recommend this hotel and would happily stay there again.

We stayed here for 3 nights in September. This is a charming and quirky little hotel with the most helpful staff I have ever met! I accidentally left my medication when we checked out and when I called the hotel that evening, they went and found it, then put it in a cab to come to the restaurant where we were having dinner! Now, that is great service:) Terrific location and delicious butter cake at breakfast, plus fresh flowers and a very clean room - what more could you ask for? Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Very good hotel in the centre of Amterdam.
There is a tram-station a few steps from the hotel. Very serviceminded and caring persons in the reception.
Ok breakfast serves by nice people.
There is som very high stairs, but they are very honest about then. You get help to carry your bags to and from your room.
I will definitly stay here again!

Very nice Hotel, stayed here for 3 nights. The Staff are friendly and got a warm welcome with free welcome drinks. The service is excellent with having your room cleaned included in with the price, rooms are quite small but exceptional, with your own private shower and bathroom with hairdryer, which was excellent. Breakfast room was lovely, with views of the Canal and tram line, food was very good and you could help yourself to as much as you wish, also with having the chance to pop in for a tea or coffee while relaxing. I would definitely recommend this Hotel, the location is amazing, with being next to the Anne Frank House, Westerkerk Church, the Jordaan district with the Prinsengracht and the Leidsegracht Canals. The views of walking along the streets were stunning, Amsterdam is such a beautiful City and I very much enjoyed my stay. Overall a brilliant holiday and would love to go back soon

Room Tip: Rooms are quite small, I was in room 317, with 2 single beds. The cleanliness of the rooms is excell...

Loved this little hotel, for the price it was exceptional, cannot recommend highly enough. Don't expect 5 star hotel and huge rooms, the smallest rooms, the best location and very charming people. Breakfast is basic in a very charming room, loved everything about this hotel.
