This was our second visit to Amsterdam and our first stay at the Hotel Nadia. Its location is perfect – everything you want is so near and it offers great canal views.

We were very much looking for a true Netherlands experience and found exactly that at the Nadia. We were lucky to be upgraded to a brilliant room (with balcony) with magnificent views of the canal and City .

The staff and management were genuinely warm, friendly and helpful – right from when we booked (over the internet) and throughout our stay.

Yes the stairs are steep but that is all part of the hotel’s charm and the 24 hour security is excellent.

A continental style, self service breakfast was included in the price and what was on offer was tasty and served with good coffee.

Staying at the Hotel Nadia was a great experience for us - we would definitely return and recommend it to others. The Hotel and its staff really made our stay!

Hotel Nadia is in a great position centrally, close to trams and buses and I found it an extremely friendly, clean and helpful place to stay. The staff were so polite and obliging. Yes, the flights of stairs are steep but there are handrails on both sides and staff wil help with luggage if you have it. My room was compact but clean and with everything you could need. The breakfast room looks out over the canal and was a welcoming place with beautiful fresh flowers on every table. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and recommend others.

Staying at the Hotel Nadia was a great experience for us. The staff couldn't be more accomodating - they will insist on making the check in and check out process easy. There are steep stairs up to the check in desk, but for a true Netherlands experience, the steep stairs are worth it. The breakfast is mostly bread, coffee, and juice, but it's presented well and the breakfast room was clean. The bedroom was clean as was the bath.

One of the best things about the hotel is the security - there is a buzzer to get in and the front desk is manned 24 hours.

The hotel is ideally located with a great view of Westerkirk church and within easy walking distance to some worthwhile stops such as the Anne Frank House & the Theater museum.

The rooms, although small, were quite comfortable and clean. Breakfast was included in the room price and was good. The staff were most helpful, friendly and accommodating. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Our stay at Nadia Hotel was great and exactly what I had hoped for. I was looking for character and charm over sterile chain-like hotel. Nadia was perfect......the decor and the ambiance and location are great! The deep reds and dark wood and antique lamps and ironworks gave the place a musty romantic feel. It has character for sure! (and hotel cats!) Other reviews note the small rooms and dreadful stairs, but that was not a problem for us. I was pleasantly surprised to find that in addition to the charm, It was clean, the bed comfortable, nice towels, sheets and pillows great too. Our balcony overlooked the street/canal and was awesome. The location was great too.....right by a big church with a giant obelisk at top so wherever you were in the city, you just have to look up and follow the big blue orb and it will lead you home! The staff was very friendly and very helpful!
