We stayed as a family of 5 looking for a few days near central Amsterdam. We chose "Nadia" after detailed research on Tripadvisor (guilty not having given feedback before) looking for a reasonable priced hotel with good reviews. We found that previous reviews had been correct in that the stairs up to, and within, the hotel are very steep but this is consistent with many non corporate hotels in Amsterdam The rooms were spotlessly clean and daily service was faultless. We were asked if it was ok to do room service each day as we handed our keys in. The rooms we had were perfectly adequate in size (103 double and 105 triple). There is outside noise from the surrounding area but nothing out of the ordinary for a city location. Breakfast was plentiful, if basic, and in keeping with the good value offered. The breakfast room did get busy after 9:00 am. The staff and management were extremely helpful, arranging a collection and park service for our car although we had not booked anything prior to arrival (local parking €5 an hour from 09:00 to 24:00) handling all of our luggage and storing our luggage on the last day to give us a full day in Amsterdam until our car was delivered back to the Hotel late afternoon. We even managed to borrow umbrellas on the days it rained. We recommend the Nadia to anyone looking for excellent quality budget acommodation in Amsterdam. One point to note is that the Hotel is B&B only with limited snacks from a vending machine outside breakfast hours (although tea/coffee available free all day in the breakfast room) We found some good restautants near by including the Panorama, at the end of the block (undercover all the way which was good as it rained heavily during our visit) , which was reasonable for Amsterdam (€100 two courses for 5 inc drinks) , helpful (meals split between two children with no quibble) with some of the best ribs I have tasted for a long time!
