We stayed in this hotel in Jan 2003 for 3 nights. We where made so welcome by the hotel staff. Very friendly and polite. Our room was ready for us at 10am. Which was great. The room was very nice and bathroom was spotless. Our room had french doors that opened up, which was nice. The buffet breakfast was very good. This was our 3rd stay in Amsterdam, we picked this hotel because we got a great deal. Very glad we stayed there. In fact when we go again in June 2004, we have already rebooked this hotel.
We travel a lot to Amsterdam, and like to try out the different hotels.
This is well worth a stay, also in a great location. Central Station is a mere 10 min walk.

This hotel has an excellent location in Amsterdam. The staff are friendly and helpful. The full American style breakfast is excellent. Good value.

Stayed here for five nights while in Amsterdam and could not be better located-five minutes walk from Centraal Station (trains), two minutes walk from the tram. Stayed in a single which was tiny but fairly standard for Europe. Breakfast is good as well. Not deluxe but comfortable for the price-hotels are expensive in Amsterdam!

I took my boyfriend here last October for his birthday for a long weekend. I expected it to be a standard 3* B&B but was plesently surprised at how clean and friendly it was. It is down the street from a police station, there is a tram stop nearly right outside and a taxi rank a minutes walk away. The hotel is open all night, but they have a guard on the door... so no matter what time you get come back you can always get in, knowing that no dodgy characters will be following you in!
