My four sisters, my Mom, and I all stayed at the Abassade April 24 to May 1. After booking three rooms on their website I contacted them via email with numerous questions. The staff at the hotel was always helpful and quickly answered my questions. They also got us a few dinner reservations before we arrived.
All three rooms were different. One had the canal view which was wonderful but a little noisy...especially on Queens Day Eve and Queens Day (April 30). My Mom and I stayed in a quiet room that was easy to get to from an outside door. The third room was also quiet and you got there by going up an elevator and around some corridors and up some stairs. The rooms were all nice and comfy.
We paid the extra money and had the breakfast every morning. It was the best breakfast I've had in Europe. There was a buffet of the regular items and then you ordered your eggs, omelets, or whatever. We also ordered coffee delivered to our rooms and they were always there on time. You could even order cappacinos in the afternoon and they would be there within 5 minutes! My Mother twisted her ankle the first day and didn't want to climb the stairs to the breakfast room so they set her up with breakfast in the lobby at a little table. The service at this hotel is the best!!
