“Lock your belongings up!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Stayed here on 16th-19th December and had good views on the hotel until the second day. I left my pandora rings accidentally on the side of the bed when we left for the day. Upon arriving back to the room the rings had disappeared. The bed had been made, therefore housekeeping had been in and we turned the room upside down and looked EVERYWHERE for them, however no luck, which meant they had been taken!! When reporting to reception they weren't much help nor looked interested on the matter, not only is it the value of the rings but the sentiment that they meant.

I had to go back to reception to ask if they had spoken to housekeeping there was no contact from them and they gave little information back - therefore probably didn't even ask!! I left my details with the hotel incase they "appear" but I highly doubt I will get a response.

If you stay here I would recommend locking your valuables away in your case to stop this from happening to you! This situation put a massive dampener on the hotel and the holiday and I WOULD NOT return here. Very disappointed.

stayed here for 3 nights in June as a group in a hen party. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and joined in on our games. For the price we paid the rooms were fine. Although there was 3 in my room and it was a little cramped but It didn't really matter as we were only there to sleep!
The hotel is in a really good location next door to the train station, really easy to find after you've had a few drinks and get lost down one of the many cobble streets- just head for the train station!
If we ever return to Amsterdam we would stay here again :)

As i am writing this i am currently sitting at the breakfast table wondering what they think is acceptable to be called a cooked breakfast.

The location, service and rooms are spot on but dont waste your money paying for their breakfast you can get better elsewhere.

I stayed here for just the one night. The bed was really comfortable, bathroom very clean great shower. We ate breakfast and the choice was plentiful and great time range open for breakfast til noon!! We had some wine in the bar and staff were fabulous and keen to answer our questions about local sights. The staff on reception were really welcoming. When I return for another visit I will head straight there to stay - literally out of Central Station, turn right walk a couple of hundred yards and there you are.

Room Tip: I stayed in 773 quiet comfortable

This Ibis is in an ideal location. Clost to the Station, Tourist Office, Trams, Buses and Canal boat trips. Gorgeous view from our window overlooking the heart of the city. Excellent sound proofing, so no noise. Breakfast was plentiful, with a good choice. Staff were excellent and friendly.

Room Tip: Try and get a VIP room......they are slightly larger.

Stayed here for only one night. Room was tiny. Bathroom was tiny. When you sat on the toilet, if you had a long nose, it would touch the wall.
Excellent location. Near many coffeeshops, opposite the popular "bulldog" coffeeshop.
Right next to the train station, you'll see it as soon as you step out of the station. Loads of places to eat nearby...expensive thoo...

If on a short break of a few days in Amsterdam, this is ideal. Well located, next to Central station (sound insulation is excellent) as well as bus and tram interchange, right in the city centre..... but also great for excursions out of town such as Haarlem or Utrecht. No luggage transfer issues here! the staff are great and the rooms spotless with very comfortable beds. The breakfast is worth having as it sets you up for the day; go for the continental options though. A luggage room near reception means you can leave your bags there after checking out before returning to Schiphol (or, indeed, if checking in early)
