“Great hotel......great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

Stayed at this hotel in August........lovely hotel in a quiet but convenient location. The bed was very very comfortable. Within easy walking distance of shops and bars. Closer to the red light area than I expected, however this did not impact on our stay at all.
Would certainly stay here again.

Stayed room only. Nicely appointed and staff very helpful. Room spotless. Great location close to the centre. Nice big wall mounted TV! Restaurant looked good but we ate out as lots of cafes and restaurants close by. Handy shop across the road. Surprisingly close to red light district!!!

We only booked in for 1 night. We were visiting Amsterdam for a conference and the hotel we had been booked into did not have the additional night we wanted.
The Radisson Blu is ideally situated, right in the middle of the city. Check in was prompt and friendly in the most stunning of foyer. Our room was upgraded but it was quite a trek to get to it! But we were not disappointed. The room was beautiful, clean with all you needed.
I would certainly choose this hotel again on our next trip to Amsterdam

Picked this hotel for location - 5 mins walk to Dam Square / Red light district - perfect for tourists! Booked a junior suite for 3 people - room was spacious with everything you'd need. Comfortable bed and pillows great. Breakfast great, staff nice and friendly - not much interaction required during our stay.

It was OK, but as a 4* it should be!

As a wheelchair user, accessibility is one of the criteria we choose our hotels by. The radisson advertises that is has wheelchair access but there was no access to the bar (which was up about 6-8 steps) or the restaurant (which was up 3 steps). We could have our included breakfast by going round the other way but that meant that I could only get to 1/2 of the breakfast buffet.

We had an accessible room which had no lowered clothes rail, just standard height clothes rails. The room was close to the lifts and the lift noise continued all night.

To be honest, for the price we paid, we both expected a bit more.

We have been in the hotel for two nights. Everything in the hotel was great: starting form the room decoration, the service in the reception, and the breakfast.
The hotel has an "indoor yard" with rooms pointing to the yard. we had such room and it was perfect.

Room Tip: Rooms with window to the internal yard were quiet and great.
