Stayed here from 1st Nov-4Nov and I am so glad I booked this hotel! Had a really pleasant stay here after reading A LOT of reviews on trip advisor. I was stuck between the crowne plaza and here with the prices almost the same it was difficult to decide. Well I am sure the crowne plaza is a lovely hotel but this hotel ticked all the boxes. It is in a much nicer location, close to all the main canals and very picturesque but lovely and quiet(while still being so close to all the action!) It is also a 10-15 walk from the central station but I am 26 and power walk really fast! It also has free wifi in the whole hotel which is a massive plus as a tourist it meant we could look up stuff to do and how to get there. The hotel staff were ALL very friendly mannerly and helpful. The hotel was super clean and a special shout out to housekeeping!! They even arranged all my makeup on a cloth, I thought this was very sweet. Another massive plus is that the hotel had computers with printers so we could print off our boarding passes and tickets for flights home. This was also free which I would say is a requirement these days for hotels but you don't always get this with every hotel!

I read a lot of reviews on tripadvisor before travelling and some people are just born complainers and others have lower expectations. Its difficult to find where you fit in when reading reviews. I would say I have high expectations but not ridiculous and was really pleased that I had booked this hotel.
All in all the hotel was in a great location very quiet (our room faced onto atrium) very clean and modern. The beds were comfy too!! I would definitely recommend staying here while in Amsterdam, I cant recommend it highly enough. Ill definitely be back.
