I've stayed in this hotel numerous times over the years for business and find that it's wonderfully accomodating for the business person. The conference facilities are great for the 50 or so folks I've had the pleasure of working with during our stay here. It's always felt a bit strange to have to walk under the street to get to the conference facilities, but that's probably just me.

Internet access and a high degree of cleanliness and helpful staff for all sorts of one-off requests during our business meetings always makes me feel comfortable during my stays here. For business in Amsterdam, centrally located and close to anything else one might be interested in doing to augment their stay in Amsterdam, this hotel is highly recommended.

One odd comment overheard on a recent trip was "How can this be a 5 star hotel if the bar doesn't open until 1700?". I don't know the answer, but that is a very strange aspect of the place. The bar is, however, wonderful when opened (if a bit expensive).

Otherwise, another great stay! The management of this hotel are doing a great job.

We stayed at the Radisson SAS hotel in the Centre of Amsterdam for quick weekend break at the end of Feb 2008. The hotel is of reasonable quality with an impressive reception area. The corridors where the rooms are remind me of 1960s school corridors. The room was very comfortable however and of a good size. The bed was also comfy. Everything was clean and the shower was good. The hotel is in a quiet area and only a 15 min walk from the main shopping/red light district and Centraal Station. i would def stay here rather than right in the thick of it.

The hotel bar was quite nice but expensive (a glass of wine/fizz is tiny!) Overall it was a pleasant place to stay but was quite expensive. It was in a great location though and we would stay here again.

This was a hotel with a fantastic location, but be aware that it is very corporate in terms of vibe and set-up. However, if you are looking for a reliable, clean, functional hotel that is a great launch pad for the main attractions in Amsterdam, then this is the one for you.

It is only 5 mins from Dam Square, Main Shopping, Red-Light District, loads of restaurants and 10 mins walk from the main musuems (Anne Frank, Van Gogh) and main train station. We really enjoyed our stay in Amsterdam, spent very little time at the hotel, but were glad we'd booked a nice relaxing and professional hotel for our stay

One tip - make sure you have a quick visit to the Rusland Coffee Shop opposite the hotel!

Located in the centre of Amsterdam, just three blocks from busy Dam Square. The Stopera Theatre and the flower market are within two blocks. It's one kilometre to Amsterdam Centraal train station...

Clean, Cozy...and very friendly staff.
