We stayed two nights at this hotel directly prior to a two week cruise. The hotel was clean, quiet, nicely decorated and well-located. We also found the staff to be helpful but not intrusive. The included breakfast buffet was good, but had the same items on it each day.
While I'd easily recommend this property to anyone visiting the area, it is important to note that the rooms (or ours, at least), while nicely decorated in a modern style, are exceptionally small. It was challenging for us to find places for our bags, and we ended up having to place a few items on the only chair/table in the room. It was downright impossible to unload our bags. The room had 6 hangers and a few little 'cubbies' near the floor which appeared to be the size for shoes. The lack of storage made our stay very uncomfortable...having to move bags to get around the room and to rifle through bags to find items that were unable to be unpacked. The other strange thing was that the TV kept turning itself on--which wouldn't be such a big deal, but it did so while we were sleeping on several occasions, until we unplugged it. The last inconveninece was the fact that there was no alarm clock--or any way to tell time save the read out on the phone.
Despite all of that, I'd definitely return for a shorter trip and with fewer bags, if only for the excellent location.
