“you can't open the window”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2012

outside city center, the bus takes 30 minutes to get there and you get 15 minutes walking to get to the bus stop.
the hotel is new and comfortable, but the glass of the window in the room was full of pigeons sheet and we could not open the window to have new air. we also missed the fridge and the sink is very small so it's difficult to wash your face. even if asked for a double bed, we found 2 twins!

Very nice hotel indeed.
"Best buy" for that price.
Helpfull and good tempered staff, comfortable beds for a good night sleep after the whole day of cycling and sightseeing in Amsterdam.
I liked the most that hotel is dislocated from centre of Amsterdam so it made the usage of bycicles you can rent in the hotel very interesting, usefull and pleasant.
I would definitly recommend it to tourists who after a long and exciting day of "Amsterdaming" want to retrieve in a peacfull and quiet place where they can get adequate rest in comfortable accommodation.

Arrived at 11.15 pm to a room that hadnt been cleaned yet. We were asked to come back in 30 mins during this time the reception staff had changed and our booking had disappeared. After a long wait we eventually got into our room at 12.30.
Overall the rooms are nice. On the last night they had forgotten to leave toilet roll and big towels.

We picked this hotel solely because of free parking and cheap price. We got what we expected, everything was ok.
+ nice hotelroom
+ free parking
- no view from room, room was to the courtyard and windows had a whole window wide "sticker" on them so you could not see outside at all.
- noise at night from courtyard, people chatting and sounded like washing pans etc.
- 30 min. busride away from Amsterdam city centrum
