“Great hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2012

Stayed at the Okura for two nights after our wedding. The room was really beautiful, and a perfect place to spend our wedding night. The room were spaceious and functional. Well stocked minibar. The bed was big, and very comfortable. he bathroom had both a tub and a shower.

Service is impeccable, very friendly and professional staff. Roomservice is also great.
This was our second stay at the Okura, and we would love to come back.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in one of the higher floors, its a wonderful view from the rooms up there.

Stayed here for one night. I booked it for a friend's birthday and had spa and breakfast included. Wonderful staff, very friendly and cheery! The room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was excellent and catered for all nationalities.

I have stayed at the Okura in Amsterdam for a weekend with my husband followed by 3 business days. This is a very good hotel and the staff is very professional and helpful (especially Yordi!). It is about 15 minutes on the Tram from Dam Square, take Tram number 25 from Cornelis Tram stop and you can also buy your tram tickets directly at the hotel reception. €7.50 for 24h and €12 for 48h. The hotel rooms are modern and clean and being serviced about 3 or 4 times a day. Overall an excellent hotel for business and pleasure.
The only thing to watch out for is that if you book a standard room, you will have to pay an extra €15/day/person to use the gym and the pool... which is pretty average anyway :(
Prices of restaurants and room services are very high (but very good quality).

Is a very good hotel a very nice area close to the restaurants and the tram ans very nice boutique , 40 min walking to city center but the only big , hugge, inconvinient is that the hotel take 100 euros/day for a guaranty ...We left us without money , they took 600 euros for each room , for 5 nights, without leting us know and without our authorisation , we just try to pay somthing nex day with the credit card and found that we do not have that quantity of money .....so be carefull with that situation .In rest nice place to be .

The hotel as such was great. Nice and quiet location yet still quite central. Great attention to detail. Gorgeous breakfast menu. There was a slight misunderstanding about our reservation, but as we got an upgrade, that was easily fortgiven.
