Stayed in the Golden Tulip what a good little hotel, very central to Amsterdam and provide easy access to all the sights of amsterdam. Within a 10 minute walk of amsterdam central station. The rooms are compact, providing every comfort needed and the beds are exceptionally comfy. The hotel staff are friendly providing as much help as needed. There is also a very good restuarant left to the main entrance of the hotel

I stayed in this hotel for a business trip. Basically an ok hotel just a short walk from the coffeeshops and red light district if that is what you are looking for. NOTE: Also a good location for exlporing the other parts of Amsterdam. (There is more to the city than just RLD) The taxi from AMS to the hotel was 50 euro or more if there was traffic. The dance club next door keep my room booming with bass one night until after midnight.

I stayed here for one night and found the hotel very comfortable, the room was big and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice from a full english to toast or fruit too much to mention.

There was a mix up with the rooms when we first arrived which was a bit worrying, reception gave one of my colleagues a room key and he found luggage already in the room!!

Overall, I would stay there again.

Very good hotel, nicely located and easily accessible. However the breakfast for 20 euros is ridiculous! It is an expensive town but come on!
If not besides from that, the hotel was very clean, nice room and most of the staff was nice too. Quality/price report was fair.

Be careful as this hotel has two sections,the original is quite good and is in the mall area , on our arrival we where put into the back part of the hotel annex .this area stings of age and ex smoking, this older hotel has just been added to their building by a walkway across a lane. If you are asked to take two lifts you are in this old hotel section. must admit with some presure we where transfered to the front section , the next 3 nights a lot more pleasant. location excellent ,cannot have it every whichway so beware.
