room nos 1020,2020,3020 and 4020 are generally for the disabled and hence are enormouse compared to the rest of the hotel and we have always had a great time there. We have been treated with respect and courtesy unlike some of the other 5 star hotels and the Breakfast is truly fantastic if u have room service! Have stayed there 5 times and am due back on the 26thDec for another 3 nights!

Yes, the location is great, but that's all the positive comment this hotel gets. The room was very small, the furniture was very old, a rusted heating and a mini bathroom. It was very warm when we visited and it was impossible to turn on the airco because it made a terrible noise...so the room got so hot that we had a incredible headache in the morning. Never never again! I think this hotel used to be very nice, but now it is more than time for renovation!!!

I stayed in one of the apartments. Ample space and the decor was nice. Bed was comfortable. The entrance to the apartments is at the beginning of the Red Light district. There is always activity giong on outside. The Greenhouse Coffieshop is just accross the street for those smokers. The room service food was excellant. If you can get one of these apartments (7day stay required) they're the best deal in Amsterdam 625euro for the week!!! book at --------.

I have been to Amsterdam three times in the last year and I have to admit that that the Krasnapolski is the cleanest hotel I have stayed in.
The staff was helpful and the room was well appointed. Although a bit pricy ( I stayed in a business class room) I would go back. The hotel is centrally located and in the middle of all the "fun stuff" that attracts many to Amsterdam. Highly recommended.
