A lovely old hotel right in the centre of Amsterdam. We (6 of us) stayed here For four nights. Every room had a different layout and it really was the luck of the draw as to who had greater space/room layout. The downside of the hotel is that the rooms are a little tired but to make up for that you get extra space and a little individuality. The windows open, the views are great and the wifi is slow but there. The staff are very good. We never ate at the hotel as there is a great cafe just over the canal bridge which serves a trad Dutch breakfast for a fraction of the price. Also the hotel is close to so many eateries and interesting things that we used the hotel as a base from which to go out for food and drinks.
