I've just recently come back from a holiday in Amsterdam with a group of 10 people that I had organised through cooperative travel from the 24th august - 28th august 2015, and got a deal of £150 per person for 4 nights, on a mini super-cruise, where we stayed one night on the cruise and two nights in Amsterdam at this hotel and another night on the cruise back home. Baring in mind the price, we were not expecting such a hotel to be that great, due to the amount we had paid, however it turned out that the hotel rooms were more than what we expected, they were clean, and spacious, and presented quite well, and there was house keeping everyday. An extra friend came along who didn't book the holiday with us, also came last minute, and as the rooms were at the rate of £82 a night, she managed to get a bed in a room of three, which was made for four, and only paid €50 which meant she was staying at a hotel for €25 a night! And this was last minute. This would of been only a little bit more expensive than a hostel, but she got two single beds to herself, as there were only three ppl staying in one, very spacious room. The staff were very friendly and pleasant, even though a group of 18 year olds are not the most cherished group, the hotel was definitely made for all types of ppl, ranging from families to friends. One highlight of the hotel was that it had free tea and coffee drinks available for the people, and had a luggage room, we were expecting to check in at 3pm as we got there for 10am in the morning, when we were told we could drop our luggage off, we were also checked in as there were rooms already available, which was great as it meant we didn't have to waste our time coming back and forth from central to the hotel. Another highlights was that it was literally 10 minute tram ride from the hotel to the central, which was very useful, and it was less than a minute walk to the Artis zoo, which was by far one of the best zoos I've been to! The area wasn't too loud or too quiet, and wasn't that far from central, which meant that it was also walking distance too, if ppl didn't want to pay €7.50 for a day rider, which in my opinion is money well spent. We couldn't ask for a better hotel that had so much convenience, we will definitely be returning again soon, and we thank the staff for making our stay a very lovely experience. 10/10 I would recommend this hotel.
