The hotel was clean and is in a good location. The breakfast was good and plenty of it. My 'upgraded' room was only of an average size, with a very small bathroom, only 1m x 3m. When I asked for a room with a bigger bathroom, I was told they were all the same. It was not expensive to stay there and overall it was okay. If you are big person, you may struggle in the small bathroom.

Room Tip: We had an upgraded room but still had a very small bathroom. Some rooms were below street level, wi...

The hotel was good and staff friendly and helpful although at times hard to find! The hotel room was comfy and clean although the toilet was a bit smelly (later that week I believe the drains were sorted!) and cups and tea bags were not replenished with fresh ones, also no Mullen whatsoever provided. We were there to check in at 2 and were kept waiting along time. Despite thus location was good and I would consider staying again!

Dear Lisa H,

thank you for your review here.
We did have problems with the drains, the street has been opened to renew the drains last week. I am sorry to hear that the cups and teabags were not stocked, I will pass this on to our housekeeper.
Looking forward to welcoming you again.

Kind regards,
Hans

Firstly it was easy to find, come out of the train station and go to your left to B tram bit and get the 9 or 14 tram to plantage/artis zoo and the tram stop is pretty much outside, I'm still a little undecided though, I felt it is very impersonal to what we have experienced before, there wasn't much of a welcome and the male who checked us in did not give a good reflection of the establishment (maybe he's just Sunday staff I don't know) it would of been nice to of have a little pack in the bedroom giving a map and recommendations as we have had before else where, although to be fair this is the first chain we have stayed in and it was very cheap. We did see on the last day a display of cards with what's on and what to do which was no good as we were leaving and it's around the corner near where to leave your bags to collect later. For the price is was good, I slept alright as did my fellow traveller, it was a clean and light room a little on the small size (not space wise but storage wise - we both wouldn't of been able to unpack and there was no where to store out suitcases so they were on the floor and we were stepping over them) The bathroom was small size way, sitting on the toilet you are facing about 6inches away from a wall. When we did have a few question there was a lovely lady on reception who was really very helpful and gave us directions to a great place for dinner which we would never of found on our own. We paid £150 for 3 nights including flights from Bristol so for that price I shouldn't complain, it was what we wanted and I would recommend and probably stay again if in the area. Just wish we had the lovely lady who checked us out to of checked us in.

Staff was very friendly and as helpful as they could be when we had questions. Our room was on the small side in comparison to what you would be used to traveling in the states but we were lucky enough to have a another bathroom just a few feet from our room so it made things a little better. Location is perfect, quiet and some very good cafes nearby (Pasta Villa and Sapori Del Mondo) small stores that sell items you may have forgotten to bring as well. Tram stop is about a block away and gets you to dam square (or anywhere else) in a few minutes. We found this location to be perfect for the way we wanted to travel, close enough to the sights and souds but far enough away you did not hear them at night. Breakfast buffet was very good but for 15 euro per person you can save some money and eat at a local cafe nearby. Also, the hotel seemed to be geared towards adult travelers not kids looking to party all night and day.

A well situated hotel with all the amenities you would expect for something in this price range in the inner city. Walking distance to a number of major locations, including the Hermitage, the zoo and Dam Square. Very pleasant and helpful staff, but I had continuous problems with my electronic room key and it didn't get fixed properly the whole week I was there. Breakfast expensive for the range of food on offer, so only had it once (there's a great coffee shop 59m away). The bedroom had a nice view over a small park and was well equipped and comfortable but the bed had the lumpiest pillows I've ever encountered anywhere.

Dear Softo,

thank you for your review.
It is good to hear your comments. We have had problems with our laundry company which resulted in the lumps in the pillows. I am glad to inform you that we have replaced them for brand new pillows.

Kind regards,
Hans
