“Hotel with a WOW factor! ”

What an amazing hotel! Me and my partner stayed here for 3 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The whole hotel is very unique and boutique like. The lobby area is fantastic with the fish tank full of tropical fish and the free coffee/hot chocolate you can use whenever you like. The hotel is situated on the singel canal and is a short walking distance from all major attractions. We didn't use any transport during our stay we managed to walk comfortably everywhere that we wanted to go. All staff are very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for you! I would definitely recommend staying here!

This year in October (13-15) I have spent two nights in Hotel Estherea, My first visit was last year in November with my daughter and friends. We were so pleased with the quality and the location of the hotel that, me and my daughter insisted much to stay in this hotel for the second time with my whole family and friends. My friends and my husband also loved the hotel as we did. Our blue coloured elegantly decorated family room was overlooking to Spui Street on which you can find number of good restaurants. Excellent breakfast which satisfies all age family members. And very helpful staff , especially Mr. Singh at the reception desk who dealed with us during our both stay last year and this year. With his close attention and service , we felt like at home.. Thanks again Hotel Estherea and Mr. Singh for making our stay unforgettable.. Yeşim Tırnaklı

Stayed here for a night after a recommendation from a friend and not the sort of place I'd normally stay - often when on business I prefer the anonymity granted by some of the chains

On this occasion it was the perfect choice - certainly not the easiest place to find by car and parking is either pot luck for a close by place on the street or take out a mortgage and use their garage.

The property itself is on the canal side and features plenty of original rooms in the reception area to take coffee/read/socialise. The rooms are genuinely comfortable albeit accessed by narrow corridors.

Reception staff were helpful and tea/coffee offered on arrival

Only things I'd look to change would be a better/larger TV in the room and better quality towels (lose the branding and pay for quality instead)

I'd happily return for a social rather than business stay

Lovely place with a really nice lobby and public areas.
Lovely room, beautyfully decorated. Lovely location, close to everything.
We would love to stay here again. Then we will take a room with a canalview 'cos they looked even moore bright and
beautyfull. Restaurants and cafeterias very close.

The Estherea was our first stop on our trip to Europe this year and it was a welcome sight after our overnight flight. They even checked us into our room early. So nice to be able to freshen up before starting a new day.
The hotel is luxurious, beautiful and charming with some of the best common areas I have experienced. There are multiple rooms to sit and relax in before or after a day of sightseeing. The fact that the hotel also offers lovely sweets and refreshments (hot chocolate, coffee, tea) all day is the icing on the cake.
The rooms were also very nice and decorated in an old world design that is perfect and what you want when visiting Europe. We reserved the deluxe room with a king size bed and were very happy with the room. More spacious than most hotel rooms in Europe with a very comfortable bed and great bathroom. The only negative on the bathroom was a very weak blow dryer in the room (every room has this same low wattage dryer). But not to worry. The incredible staff (more later) supplied me with a strong blow dryer upon request. Also available upon request is an ipad that you can keep in your room for the length of your stay.
The two most important features this hotel has to offer is location and its staff.
The location of the hotel is perfect. Very close to Dam Square, the Royal Palace and the Anne Frank House, this hotel is convenient to everything and if you enjoy walking, you can walk to everything. We did. Nothing was more than a half hour walk.
The staff here is wonderful. They are kind, gracious and professional and take care of any questions you may have from the room, to restaurants, to directions. They do anything they can for you to make your stay more enjoyable.
The greatest complement I can give this hotel is that if I am in Amsterdam in the future I will not look for any other place to stay but here!

just returned from a 3 day stay at the Estherea. I can honestly say that we had a fantastic stay. The hotel is kept to a very high standard. The staff are very welcoming and helpful with any requests or assistance we needed throughout our stay. the rooms are comfortable and clean. the coffee facilities are very good and available at any time in the hall next to the bar. there is a small comfortable bar. I would recommend staying at the Estherea to anyone who enjoys quality surroundings within easy reach of all of Amsterdam's sights. there are many bars and restaurants very close by in a nice area away from the bustle. We very much look forward to returning and will do so. well done Estherea and thank you for a wonderful welcoming break. see you soon.
