I was solo on a business weekend in Amsterdam and the Concious hotel recommended this to me. I arrived at about 9:30pm on a Saturday night. The restaurant was full and they staff wer not waiting at the door, but I made my way to the bar and they seated me at the last open table for 2. They brought me a beer served in a coconut shell and then helped me order (a meat variety plate). When I had finished the owner sat and chatted with me for a few minutes. Really appreciated the personal touch. The food was delecious and very unique. I had an African version of bananna's foster? All was good, the pace was perfect. I would love to go back with a group of friends. I hope I can soon.
