Best sandwich I've ever had — the Porchetta on spelt.
Sous-vide pork belly? Who puts that on a sandwich? Lombardo, that's who. Half-dried tomatoes added a nicely different twist to the flavor, fresh sprigs of lettuce, and truffle sauce. It's got everything you could want in a sandwich: simple (but well-chosen) ingredients, fresh, organic, local, and combined in perfect harmony. There is a vegan option which looked delicious, and which I nearly got, but the pork called to me. The juice was ultra-fresh and came in a very generous portion too.
Wandered in here by chance on my way back from the Rijksmuseum, and wow. I'll definitely be coming back!
