This is an unusual hotel, with art installations in the hallway and rooms. It is in a newly renovated but old building, so the shape of rooms differs. The bathroom had no shower stall, just a shower head in the corner - but it worked surprisingly well. The staff were very helpful with whatever we needed. We got an upgrade to a three star room, perhaps because we arrived quite late - although it was still quite a small room. The bed was fantastic though, slept very well.
The location is really great - three minute walk from the main train station, close to Dam Square and the Red Light District, but quiet.
This is an excellent hotel for couples, and if you'll only be spending a bit of time in the hotel. Not so good for families, or if you want to lounge about in the hotel.
