“Awesome hotel in Amsterdam!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013 via mobile

So modern, so big. Staff downstairs was very helpful! A bit far out from downtown but so modern it was a refreshing change from the rest of our European hotels! Definitely recommend this hotel. Great tram stop right out front that gets you downtown in minutes! Practically dropped us off at Anne Frank's front door!

very good, the attendent is very nice. I am a part of the airline group and we are here for 2 nights. The breakfast is very good on the top of the building. You have very nice hotel. Before i stay in the Blue tower hotel in amsterdam, but the Ramada hotel is much better! The location is ok. In 10 minutes you are in the city centre. There is a tram in the back of the building, number 13. 1 single ticket is 2.80 euro 1 day ticket is 7.50 euro.

The people from the breakfast and the rest of the staff is nice.

The room is nice and modern. if you have a room on the top floor you have a nice view but also a room on the lower floor is very nice. There is a park in the front where you can run.

We stayed for 3 nights in August and was pleasantly surprised.. The breakfast was more than sufficient with a wide range to select from. The 17th floor bar/restaurant had spectacular views and the Dinner menu had a very good choice. The rooms were large and very comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The shuttle from the airport is a plus. On leaving a car service was arranged to take us to the ship terminal. The driver was very professional and immaculately dressed, the car "cleaner than clean". The convenience of being able to catch the tram into the city approximately a 15 minute ride. The tram offered a very reasonably priced 2 day pass.

amsterdam.the room is big with a big bed and cover with fether.thats cool. The hotel's location is great for those who dont want noise and such to disturb them as its close to the city but not too close. The tram station is a sub 2 minute walk and very cheap. If your feeling you want to sit around and have a drink I would recommend having a 5 minute walk to the square just down from the hotel, its very nice and relaxing in the evening.

Room Tip: South room has nice view

First and foremost, the "Floor 17" restaurant had the best hotel food I have had in a long time. I don't think anyone had a bad dish. I can't believe that I am saying "I looked forward to eating at the Ramada." but it is true. We ate there a lot because the weather was bad and there is not much in the vicinity of the hotel. The rooms were modern and nice enough. Kind of a silly shower design that can't keep water off the floor, but the staff was very courteous and knowledgable. You can catch the tram out front or about a 10min walk to the metro. Cabs were never more than 5 minutes. I would stay here again, but if you are going as a tourist I would look for something a little closer in.

Room Tip: Nothing block on any side but you could get nice city view from two side... basically north and east...

Stayed in Feb this year with my mum for 3 nights and had a very pleasant stay. Very modern and up to date rooms as hotel new from end of last year, with lovely bathroom large walk in double shower. Very comfy bed and flat screen tv, had breakfast included which was plently to choose (pancakes are a must try - yum!). Friendly staff, we got picked up from the airport with free shuttle bus and return was only 5 euros - bargin. Hotel is not in centre of Amsterdam however the tram is 5 mins walk from hotel and this proved to be a nice way to get to centre (about 20 minute ride) and cheap as we got a 3 day pass. Me and my mum had a room each at this hotel and with breakfast, for 3 nights and paid less than £100 in total - excellent value, would stay again.

Beautiful hotel, I stayed here with my partner for a weekend and would definitely come back for another visit. The rooms were tidy, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was brilliant, with loads of choices available. The main restaurant is situated on the top floor of the hotel with breathtaking views of the city. It was really easy to get into the city centre with the tram station being right outside the hotel, and a day pass for the tram was really useful and affordable.

We would stay here again!
