“Grear for a Family of Four”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2012

My family of four stayed at studio INN for two nights and found it to be very satisfactory. The B&B is located close to a tram/bus stop, making travel convenient, so we managed to travel to many places in only two days, using 48h I Amsterdam cards and mulitple day GVB tickets. Guido, the owner, was also extremely helpful. His email communication was always prompt. He recommended nearby restaurants and prepared varied, yummy breakfasts for us during our stay.

Studio INN’s price was really reasonable for a group of four. Due to this, and Guido's kind hospitality, I gave the B&B 5 stars. We forgot a pen at the apartment and only realised after we’d left, Guido kindly offered to send it over to our house in Thailand and insisted it was part of his service. I’m impressed by his consideration.

Overall, our stay here in Amsterdam was pleasant and enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for family with up to two teenage kids or two couples on a budget who won't mind sharing a rather tiny bathroom.

We stayed with our three children for two nights at Studio Inn in June. As a family it's very comfortable to have two connecting rooms and a private bathroom. Yes, the bathroom is a little small but who cares. The accommodation is very clean with white clean bed sheets. It's a 15 minutes walk from the central train station or a short tram ride and a good base for exploring Amsterdam. Breakfast was delicious; we even had poffertjes one morning. We can definitely recommend Studio Inn.

What a little 'Gem' of a place, hidden and tucked away. This made a good base for us whilst exploring. We stayed from April 10-13, 2012. The beds were very comfortable. The apartment was lovely and clean with a fantastic view over the canal. The breakfasts through the hole in the wall each day was eagerly anticipated. There was always a variation and plenty of it, really set us up for the day ahead. The bathroom was compact and if you are tall, shutting the door in front of you whilst on the loo is a slight problem, apart from that everything else was perfect. The Studio INN was a great location away from the busy main area, but not too far away from the centre. We walked in every day, also the Station is so easy to walk to. Guido and his family are very welcoming and we would definately recommend this as a lovely place to stay in Amsterdam.

We stayed for 3 days in Amsterdam it was perfect and the comfort of the Studio Inn has something to do with that! Guido is very kind, the B&B is clean, warm, very well decorated, the sheets smell so good, the bed is comfortable and the breakfast is succulent. We definitely recommend the place to everyone!

We've stayed here 02.01.2012-09.01.2012. On arrival we were met by host with hospitality and smile. The vew is amazing. Every morning waking up we could enjoy the veiw of the canal, charming tree with pigeons. The room is on the first floor and it is very light and spacious. It has everything you need in Amsterdam: door, key, steep stairs, large windows to canal, kingsize bed, tea, coffee etc. And rich delicious breakfast giving energy for the whole day.
One funny moment every day: in the morning we heard a steps "top-top-top" then knocking at small door from which breakfast appeared and goodmornig words. Very nice!
Studio INN is situated extremely good in a quiet place not far from center. Good for a little walk in the evening along a canal where you can look at windows on houseboats.
We truly felt like an amsterdammers.
Highly recommended for travellers who want to feel like Dutch and for quiet rest after Amsterdam's bustle.

We very much appreciated our time at the Studio-Inn. It was easy to get there and easy to stroll around Amsterdam as quite a central location. With two seperate yet communicating rooms my wife and I had the opportunity to let the children sleep next door. The view was tremendous! You see it from the boat tours. Lastly the breakfast was really cherry on the cake.
The warm and flexible welcome - we were unannounced on hour and could park the car in front of the door for the baggage - made it very convenient. All in all a great welcome and place to stay thanks to Guido and his wife.

We spend 2 nights in this B&B and will definitely come back to this location when we visit Amsterdam again! You'd wish you had a breakfast like this every day! Thanks, Guido, for the great care, the fresh bread, orange juice, eggs, hot milk,... it was really excellent. The bedroom is stylish and cosy! It has a quite location (for a good night of sleep!), magnificent view near the water and still, we went to the city center by food in just a few minutes.
The owner also gave us a very good recommendation for an Indian restaurant where we had excellent dinner !
The shower room is tiny indeed, but let's forget about that... we will remember the positive points much much more !
