“Pub, restaurant, Live Music & meeting point”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2014

An Irish pub as should be. Olde charm, hospitality, great food, loads of 'craic' ! .. all kinds of characters & a happy buzz, accents from all over the world. Sports fans have the big screens, most events shown (GAA). Trad' home-cooked foods, largest portions, freshest ingredients, best of meats... presentation is mouth-watering ! As day turns into night welcome on stage a rogues gallery of musical talent, guaranteed to keep you going into the wee hours!.

“Great Restuarant/Pub”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2014 via mobile

For a pub it has awesome food. I had the liver and onions. It was better than Mom used to make. They are known for the ribs but I'd be hard pressed not to get the liver again. Stop in and see what you think.

“Good beer, friendly staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2013

The atmosphere is good, the beer is good, the staff friendly, the food is good. As you would expect in a capital city, the prices are high.

“Great Atmosphere - great craic”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2013

Busy & popular bar with locals and visitors alike.
Really excellent food menu from snacks to full main courses.
Whether you are looking for a breakfast bacon cob or warming Irish Stew served on a cold Sunday lunchtime both were enjoyed. Actually served by friendly Irish staff who managed to find tables and take orders with a smile and in the true spirit of Irish "craic".

“Great food, great staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2013

We stayed at the hotel next door so ate here both in the morning for the complimentary breakfast and also for our evening meal. What a lovely charming rustic pub. Staff were really eager to please, we never needed to leave the table to re-order drinks all night. The ribs were the best I've ever had. Really good place, less than 5 minutes from the train station and the red light district, so ideally placed
