“Beautiful room with a canal view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

This is a beautiful boutique hotel right in the best part of Amsterdam along the Keizersgracht canal. Everything you want is close by and also a short walk to Central Station. The price is not extraordinary- we paid 125 and 145 euro for a room along the canal with a great view and a comfortable nights sleep.

The staff was courteous and helpful. Definitely would stay here again on my next visit to A'dam.

Room Tip: get a room with a canal view

Feel very lucky to have found this hotel. The location, 10 minutes trundle from the station, right at the start of a pretty canal and in a marvellous and relatively quiet zone, is perfect for exploring Amsterdam. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is great. Our second-floor room overlooking the canal wasn't huge, but pretty perfect. Great facilities (but can't see what George Clooney sees in the nespresso machine). Great breakfast. All-in-all, superb place.

Room Tip: Canal view is a must

This is our second stay and enjoyed it as much as the first time. We stayed in the large room overlooking the canal. Spacious, comfortable, clean and great beds. Breakfast was complimentary very good. Love the location, walking distance to everything. Amsterdam is just so beautiful and staying in hotel Sebastian's makes it even better. Will definitely be back.

The hotel is in a gorgeous location, quiet street looking onto the canal. We had the cheapest room and when we booked the manager got in contact to warn us that the room was very small and let us know we could change our booking in advance if we wanted. We didn't change - the room was small but really well done. Comfy bed, nice bathroom with very good shower - all you wanted really! The breakfast was good, staff were all very helpful and recommended good places for dinner. I would stay there again on another trip!

This small boutique hotel in Jordaan area of Amsterdam is close to all the attractions and restaurants. Fifteen minutes from the train station by foot it is ideally located. The staff is friendly and willing to help with everything. Late check-out is possible. The breakfast while not included in the price is generous and very good for 10 euros. The room was small but not so small by european standards. Very clean, completely renovated, spacious bathroom and all the commodities.
We would definitely come here again.

Good hotel, very good located, clean and with a good service. You can order pizza in your room and the front desk call the pizzaria and put the bill at the check-out. They have bikes for free and this is the best way to know Amsterdam!

Room Tip: Choose a big size room with canal view
