This hotel is ideally situated for walking around Amsterdam. Within walking distance of all major attractions. The rooms were very nice, with all the usual conveniences, including tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast in the hotel was very good, but a bit pricey 16 euros, but they didn't charge for the young children. The hotel bar was small but ok for a nightcap. There were a few bars just down the road which did the usual snacks and drinks, the Luxembourg to name one was very friendly and good with the kids. about 15 minute walk to Anne Frank House. Throughly enjoyed Amsterdam, but look out for the bikes, and Trams, they come from everywhere! Get to the Anne Frank house early if you can, we were there just after 9am, and no queues and walked straight in, but we passed by later in the morning on a canal cruise and the queue was quite long. Madam Tussauds worth a visit, bit pricey but kept the kids entertained for a while.
