I really enjoyed staying at the hotel. Very good location and friendly staff. A bit loud outside, but this is expected for the hotel in the downtown area.

Ideal location a pleasant walk from the central bus, tram and railway station with excellent restaurants around for a meal after a long day working or seeing the sights. Not flash, but ideal for our group of 7 on business in the Netherlands. Having breakfast start at 6.30am rather than 7am would be worth considering. Staff excellent.

My husband and I made a quick weekend trip to see tulips. We selected this hotel based on its proximity to the departure point of our daily tours. However, we were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Our room was large and the bathroom was modern and clean. The furnishings were minimalist, but adequate and efficient. Additionally, the hotel is close to the Museum Quarter, a pretty canal and several high-quality restaurants. The reception staff was extremely helpful with everything from restaurant recommendations to WiFi issues to making arrangements for taxis. Finally, the price was reasonable compared with most of the hotels in Amsterdam during a busy tourist weekend.

We went on a trip my mother (60), my daughter (4) and myself to visit Amsterdam and chose this hotel based on trip advisor recommendations. I must say I was not disappointed. The hotel is very central (15mn by feet from Central Station or tram to choose between 1, 2 or line 5).
We had the nice surprise to find 3 real beds as I was worried that we will have a crib or something for my kid. There was also a small footboard in the bathroom for my daughter to use.
The choice of breakfast was basic but included in the price so nothing to say either.
2 drawbacks: it was too hot in the room and no possibility to use AC or open a window (and it was freezing outside). Also, we had no "view" in our room but at least, it was calm to sleep at night.
All in all, a good stay.

Great location, easy access to all you need but not too touristy. Rooms are very clean if a little worn round the edges. Try and get a canal side room if you can. Breakfast is a little pricey but there are lots of bars, etc, virtually next door to the hotel. I'd stay here again.
