We checked in this hotel yesterday, 2 weeks ago we stayed at NH Amsterdam Center Hotel.
Comparing the two, this NH although has a more "city center" location but is older, smaller room, and I feel the service is slightly slower.
Room in odd shape (maybe it is just the one we are in), so there are TV table and cupboard sticking out here and there.
Bathroom - Like the standing shower but if you are not slim, might be a squeeze into the shower stall. Toilet bowl is the old skool Dutch style, not my favourite (!), Mirror has no anti fog like the other NH i stayed in, no shower cap, minimum amenities.
No iron in the room. Have to go certain floor with iron room.
Heating position in both NH hotels are weird, they are behind the very thick curtain, not sure how this works in the very cold winter.
Hotel is not bad but I think could be better. Unless there is a reason I need to be closer to this part of the city, i would prefer to go to NH Amsterdam Centre.
