Just had a few days break in this hotel..it was great,,had a brill time...Hotel was clean and staff were great..would deffinately stay at this hotel again..it was also in walking distance of pubs clubs...shops and all eating houses..GREAT...

We payed 399 Euros for 3 nights (thursday-sunday), we stayed on the third flr overlooking the canal (a must!!) The room was small but very clean and nice. Wonderful bed, clean and equiped bathroom. Great shower- hot water and pressure. We also had breakfast and it was amazing!! a big selection of food. We considered not paying for the brkfst but we would have ended up spending another 1-2 hrs every morning and eating less...
The only thing that bothered me is that there was no free wifi, which I think a hotel should give. If you disagree or don't care then disregard...

A great hotel in a fantastic location. Spotlessly clean with very helpful staff who really did go out of there way to help.

In walking distance of everything you nee to see in Amsterdam.

If we decide to go back this is where we would stay.

We stayed here 4 nights. It is perfect located, near Spui Square. The room (number 29 ground floor) was perfect, very big like a suit, free coffe and tea (and green apples in the reception also!), a lot of chapmu, soap, etc in the bathroom, views to quiet street and channel. A bit of noise because of water pipes in the room. Unfortunately there were men working in the street at 8am monday. But we were changed to 5th floor without problem. Nice views of Amsterdam roofs. People in reception are very very nice, all speak english. You have 15 minutes of Internet for free every day.
Breakfast was expensive (17 euros person) but we have breakfast in some bars near hotel (Bert bar for 7 euros, croassanterie near hotel) Very nice bar with hundred of beers in small street near hotel, and a typical restaurant just one step from hotel (5 flyes) but expensive for small dishes (45 euros per person, without wine)
