“Yummy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2014 via mobile

These fries are fresh, hot, delicious and not at all greasy. You can choose from about 20 different sauces.

There is nowhere to sit and always a line outside but that just demonstrates their popularity.

We'll definitely be back before the end of our visit to Amsterdam.

“Go there for the Belgian mayo!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2014 via mobile

I found this place encouraged by a local bartender in the Red Light District many years ago. I go back every time I'm in town. There's a line usually filled with locals and that's a good sign. My husband and I shared a medium and it was a great little meal. It comes with one sauce but we added another one side by side for a little more. I say get the Belgian mayo and the joppie sauce which is THE local favorite. Visit the Dampkring famous from Oceans 12 right around the corner first because they won't allow the fries.

“Good fries!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2014

Went to Vleminckx based on the good reviews… It is in the shopping district and there’s always time for a snack! Prices are good - medium size cone is 2.75€. It is a stand - no places to sit. Interestingly, the café across Vleminckx offers you to sit at their place if you buy a drink!
They were very good! If there’s no line up, go for it - otherwise, there are many places in Amsterdam for fries!

“Fries are very crisp and tasty and plenty of sauces to choose from”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2014

Nice fries. There's always a queue, but moves quickly. Plenty of sauces to choose from. They are only open from 11am to 7pm.

The other good one is on Damrak called Manneken Pis. didn't try these, but should have to get a comparison.

“Perfectly crispy fries”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2014 via mobile

They only have one dish here: Belgian Fries with 20+ sauces.
The fries were made to perfection. The sauces were so-so (Belgium mayo and curry sauce).
Too bad they have any space to sit down and indulge.
