“Fries and sauce were good, but did not warrant the long walk.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

I walked from my hotel near the train station to try the fries at Vleminckx. They were definitely good fries, and the peanut satay sauce was good, but it was not worth a trip to get them. If you are near the museums and want fries, this place is probably as good or better than any other.

“Great Fries”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

Great fries. Light and crispy and a range of sauces. Very tasty. Very popular. Not much more to say really!

“Just good chips!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013 via mobile

Cheap chips, very tasty, reasonably priced! Buy them and then head down the road to the canal and enjoy them by the water! What else do you need to know?!

“Best fries ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013 via mobile

There is always a constant queue for this place but the service is so fast. Defo worth the wait. Have the curry sauce and Belgian mayo. To die for!

“Fantastic chips at a great price.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013 via mobile

Found this place out after reading reviews on here, and well worth the walk. Chips were amazing and crispy, fantastic tasting sauces, and for Amsterdam reasonably cheap for a lunchtime snack. Would definitely go back if in Amsterdam again.
