“A movie theathre experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2012

You must visit if you like cinema. An Art Noveau theatre well preserved and restored. Films in Englsh with Dutch subtitles. If you can, get a loge in Saal 1, then you will have a waiter bringing your beer and popcorn!

“A genuine movie theatre”

For amazing architecture and the only theater in Amsterdam that you can book a private booth along with a bottle of champagne. Magic.

“Time machine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

This Cinema is one of the oldest in Europe. Its architecture is very specific and is Art Nouveau, Art Deco or Amsterdam school. The Cinema in itself brings you back in time far from any multiplex. A place to go for sure.
