5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

Was the 3rd time I was visiting. Took a guided tour this time and it helped better understand the story around Van Gogh, nis life, his talent and the evolution. Highly recommend. Nice museum with all services. Easy access. Near I Amsterdam sign.

“Great to visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

Crowded, naturally, but is organized well with English explanations. If you have any interest in Van Gogh, you will be amazed at his many, many works over his life.

“A Must in Amsterdam”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

This is a must see in Amsterdam. It is adjacent to a beautiful park and about two blocks from the Rikes Muuseum. It has just been renovated and the job was well done. The art displays are very well done and you can get up close to the art work and take pictures. The only drawback is that there can be a long waiting line to get in. Tour buses pull up and unload people to get in line. The best time to go is in the morning when it opens.

“Must not skip this Museum!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

The Van Gogh Museum was another highlight of our trip to Amsterdam. There are many floors that show and tell the life and works of Van Gogh. I learned much about his life, and work.

“Get tickets at your Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

By getting tickets at your hotel you bypass the lineups for tickets. Don't take a backpack. AND no camera flashes. I was very disappointed when there are clear signs saying no flash and still people took pictures using flash. Also there are some paintings you cannot photograph at all. And there are still some that can't read! In any of the languages!! Overall it is an impressive display if you like his work, the history of where he was at different times of his work and the building itself is very well laid out for the masses of people visiting. Also amazing gift shop. Take extra money!! Worth the visit.
